Total cases

Data notes: 1. The charts below show cases based on their 'true' notification dates. These may be different from the days cases are announced. 2. New Zealand reports confirmed and probable cases. NZ Ministry of Health says a probable case is one without a positive laboratory result, but which is treated like a confirmed case based on its exposure history and clinical symptoms.

Locally versus overseas-acquired

Data are verified with federal, state and territory health departments. Charts or pages are timestamped with latest updates.
